Responsibilities

  1. • Keeps abreast of all developments in the area that have a direct impact on the protection environment of Palestine refugees.
  2. • Develops and improves internal reporting processes and creates appropriate formats for protection staff.
  3. • Processes and analyses data collected by protection staff through integrated assessments and compiles reports on identified pattern and trends.
  4. • Gathers additional qualitative and quantitative protection data from multiple sources, including secondary data to.
  5. • Reports quarterly on established indicators through the results-based monitoring system.
  6. • Maintains close collaboration with other programmes for the reporting of cross-cutting protection activities and/or issues.
  7. • Documents progress on activities towards established objectives and compiles monthly and quarterly reports for donors, the Director’s Office and/or HQ.
  8. • Documents success stories, which show the positive outcomes of protection interventions.
  9. • Assists the Data analyst in presenting accurate and attractive data and information management products, including protection factsheets.

Education

  • A university degree in social science, political science, business administration, economics, or related discipline.

Work Experience

  • It is required to have at least two years of relevant experience in reporting, communication, programme/project implementation, monitoring and evaluation or related fields.

Languages

*Good Working knowledge of English.

Desirable Qualifications

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  2. Excellent knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  3. Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is an added advantage.
  4. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of protection and humanitarian principles.
  5. Strong planning and organization skills
  6. Ability to adapt to rapidly-changing operational priorities

Special Notice

Contract Type & Duration:
Limited Duration Contract, 1 year, renewable (depending on the need, performance and the funding availability)

Conditions of service:

  • • The monthly basic salary shall be 1,448.30 US$ at Band E.
  • Other conditions of service and benefits may apply.
