Pre-sales Engineer - Business Alliance " Ramallah "

Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Pre-sales Engineer for an IT Solutions Company, located in Ramallah, Palestine. The candidate will provide product-driven system solutions at the enterprise level; including server, storage, and networking solutions.

Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Proactively identify clients’ business needs and recommend innovative strategies to achieve their technology goals.
2. Architect highly complex server, storage, and networking solutions.
3. Articulate product benefits to solve clients’ technology challenges.
4. Collaborate with the sales support or account team by acting as technical experts in customer presentations.
5. Determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as a liaison between the organization’s sales/business development and engineering group.
6. Provide analysis and development of integrated infrastructure initiatives.
7. Assist with the compilation of technical documents and presentations such as SOWs and customer proposals.
8. Prepare and deliver solution-related presentations.
9. Coordinate the transition between pre-sales specifications and implementation engineering once contracts have been awarded.
10. Develop customer and partner relationships to ensure that the company is recognized as a trusted advisor.

Special Requirements & Skills: 

1. Demonstrated experience in configuring servers and storage while following OEM guidelines for best practices in deployment.
2. Understanding of virtualization, VDI, SDN, and Cloud Architectures.
3. Knowledge of Dell products and configuration tools to create a complete bill of materials.
4. Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.
5. Ability to capture raw requirements and convert them into specifications as part of a server or storage configuration.
6. Good knowledge of networking, to ensure designed solutions will integrate correctly.

Years of experience:

Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field. 

Location:

Ramallah, Palestine.

Languages Required:

Fluent in Arabic & English.
