Work Location

Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank

Expected duration

  • The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
  • Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,600 USD, depending on the fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • The incumbent can be in any UNRWA field of operations (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank).

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. • Be the security focal point to support users.
  2. • Manage safes and platforms.
  3. • Manage policies.
  4. • Manage users and groups
  5. • Assist in onboarding accounts in a bulk fashion.
  6. • Automate the discovery and onboarding of accounts.
  7. • Monitor and unlock accounts.
  8. • Reset and resync CyberArk's component accounts
  9. • Ensure the password rotation is successful.
  10. • Automate management activities using APIs.
  11. • Create reports for management.
  12. • Create procedures for standard tasks that can be offloaded to other support teams.
  13. • Ensure the platform is updated and functional.
  14. • Monitor DR sync.
  15. • Perform BCP and DR planned activities
  16. • Integration with identity platforms.
  17. • Integration with ServiceNow.
  18. • Possess outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues and providing comprehensive written, oral and/or digital products (including document organization and technical writing).
  19. • Provide other ad hoc support as required.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications:

● A university degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, computer science, or other related disciplines

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years for a master’s degree in managing a CyberArk PAM solution.

The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
  1. Experience in maintaining a CyberArk PAS on-premises solution.
  2. Experience in installing and configuring CyberArk components.
  3. Knowledge of how SSH and RDP protocols work.
  4. Demonstrate background in deploying security solutions.
  5. Experience with APIs to automate tasks.
  6.  Experience with integrating identity solutions.
  7. The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
  8. Exposure to both Windows and Linux operating systems
  9. Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment techniques.
  10. Experience in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.
  11. Experience in the cluster and load-balancing solutions.
  12. Knowledge of integrating MFA solutions.
  13. Configure access to web applications.

DESIRABLE Qualifications

  • CyberArk Privileged Access Security certified, minimum level 2.

Language:

● Fluent in spoken and written English.
