Protection inspirator - Wefaq society

Wefaq Society for Women and Child Care announces its need to fill a full-time job as a Well –being and protection inspirator worker for young women and men within the project to ( The project Strengthening Palestinian young people, particularly young women’s leadership and influence for resilient, just and green societies) within the Strategic Partnership Program in partnership with ActionAid Palestine, funded by the Danish International Development Agency

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct emergency and preparedness capacity building activities including: training, workshops, and campaigns  for youth groups and( General Practitioners) GP volunteers
  2. lead humanitarian campaigns that aim to increase people resilience in eastern Khan Yunis and Rafah Governorate
  3. Develop and conduct trainings within the specific thematic focus of GP Palestine. facilitate and conduct training, sessions and workshops for local youth
  4. Support GP team in emergency and preparedness activities as needed
  5. Build and support developing localized humanitarian work approach

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in humanities, business administration, Development Studies, Management, Or any related filed
  2. At least 3 years of experience in emergency, preparedness, Resilience / or social community field.
  3. At least two years’ experience in training domain.
  4. Ability to design and lead creative youth activities.
  5. Excellent mobilization and organizing skills  
  6. Very good advocacy and campaigning skill
  7. Excellent mobilization and organizational skills.
  8. A great level of an awareness of the Palestinian context.
  9. Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
  10. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and representation skills
  11. work and complete tasks in coordinate with supervisor
  12. work well under pressure and tight deadlines 
  13. Proficient understanding of the resilience principles within the field of humanitarian efforts 
  14. Demonstrated commitment to work with the youth and colleagues in an equal and respectful manner where
  15. shared learning is essential
