Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, provide possible solutions, and develop data models accordingly.
- Design and development for the Data warehouse dimensional model according to the provided business requirements.
- Design and development for the OLAP Database using SSAS database objects;
- Develop ETL packages.
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using DAX and MS Power BI.
- Develop multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
- Deployment and configuration packages for all created work components.
- Create and maintain documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A university degree or master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, or other related disciplines;
- A minimum of 4 years of proven technical experience for a bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 year for a master's degree in software applications development and implementation.
- Experience in design Reports and Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI connecting to OLAP cubes or any other data sources.
- Experience and familiarity with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Experience in designing cubes for complex business requirements.
- Experience in writing DAX /MDX expression for Microsoft Analysis Services.
- Experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Architecture.
- Experience in ETL development
- Strong data architecture knowledge around data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with SQL Server databases as developer.
Service Conditions:
- The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
- Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,490.30 USD and depend on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
- The incumbent will be based in Gaza.
