  • Job Title: HR Coordinator.
  • Location: Gaza – Saha Al-shawa.
  • Duration: Temporary.

Background:

Ajyal Association for Creativity & Development (ACCD) is one of the leading non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the field of youth and children empowerment across the Gaza Strip.  Ajyal thrives to improve qualities of youth who are facing double marginalization and enable them to actively play a positive role in the development of Palestinian community.  

 Ajyal was established in 2003 and registered in the Ministry of Interior under registration number 7329, it aims to contribute at Palestinian society development through providing a series of innovative interventions and pioneering projects. with more than 18 years of working experience, ACCD has successfully forged many partnerships with international and local organizations in pursue of its mandate and achieving desired change at the individual and community levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Follow up HR processes including: Attendance, Recruitment, Training, Performance Evaluation, Payroll, etc.
  2. Maintain and update the HR policies, procedures and processes manual, rules and regulations and other relevant documents.
  3. Ensure that policies, procedures and processes are up-to-date and compliant with Palestinian employment law.
  4. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
  5. implements and develops the annual training plan and budget, in cooperation with executive management, ensuring that it encompasses best practices and the key business needs and staff skills needed to improve the company.
  6. Develops best practice business and people solutions with the HR environment.
  7. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

Qualifications:

  1. BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or relevant field;
  2. Five years’ experience in HR and/or personnel management and administration;
  3. Understanding of labor law and disciplinary procedures;
  4. Proficient in MS Office especially in Excel;
  5. Able to take initiative and responsibility of own tasks and duties
  6. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
