Quality Assurance Engineer - Quizplus " Ramallah "
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to become a part of Quizplus team! Quizplus is a world-wide educational technology company based in Dubai, operating as an online learning platform for higher education students to access a wide range of course-specific study resources contributed by a community of students and experts. Quizplus is a fast-growing company publishing daily helpful and accurate study materials audited by a team of in-house experts.
Responsibilities:
- Create tests to identify both manual and automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Research and identify possible solutions to software bugs or problems
- Document results by identifying, isolating and reporting defects of the test in complete details for the development team
- Automate and document tests from existing test cases/scenarios and new feature specifications.
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Works closely with the development team to enhance and improve programs
- Research and compare competitors’ products
- Manage the release of the software or application and follow up on further releases and corrections
- Stay up-to-date with new automation testing trends, tools, and methodologies.
Skills and Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Testscript/Javascript.
- Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
- Familiarity with testing and test planning with automation tools (Cyprus + Selenium), scripts and manual testing.
- Ability to create and execute test cases for software in development to check code for bugs and problems.
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- English language required
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
