Introduction: 

Padico Holding established Al-Mashtal Tourism Investment company in 2011. It’s the first five-star hotel on the beach of Gaza city.

The hotel is currently equipped to provide all services for tourists, including conference rooms for workshops, in addition to 220 five-star hotel rooms. The hotel also provides office rental services, which have attracted embassies and representations of a number of European countries.


Al Mashtal hotel is known for its dazzling fusion of luxury and vintage designs, it is an enchanting area on the coast of the Mediterranean sea.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our hotel team. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the hotel has adequate supplies of all necessary items, including food, beverages, linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other materials required for daily operations. The Procurement Officer will be expected to maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms and prices, and ensure timely delivery of all goods. Reporting to the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
  2. Develop and maintain a list of approved suppliers, based on quality, price, and reliability.
  3. Identify and evaluate suppliers based on their ability to meet the hotel's needs and standards.
  4. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing and timely delivery.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available for all departments.
  6. Coordinate with department heads to understand their supply needs and ensure that orders are placed in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Work closely with the Financial department to ensure that all purchases are properly recorded and tracked.
  8. Continuously review and analyse purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developments to ensure the hotel is receiving the best possible value for all purchases.
  10. Ensure that all purchases are made in compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  11. Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
  12. Preparing Procurement plan.


متطلبات الوظيفة

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  6. Familiarity with purchasing software and systems.
  7. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement.
  8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  9. Proficiency in English language
