Administrative and Technical Support Intern - (GIZ) "Ramallah"

Local Governance Reform Programme (LGRP) II” which is funded by the German Government is aiming to support municipalities and Village Councils in improving their performance in service delivery.  The project focuses especially on (1) participatory local and spatial planning, (2) local financial management, (3) accountability and transparency in relations between local governments and citizens, and (4) relations between different administrative levels. The four action fields are closely intertwined with different perspectives on strengthening effective and efficient local service delivery.

To support our operations, LGRP II is looking for an intern located in RAMALLAH to assist the project in administrative and technical tasks.

“Administrative and Technical Support Intern-LGRP Ramallah”

Tasks and Functions include but are not limited to:

  1. Supports in general administrative tasks of the project
  2. Assists the project team in coordinating activities and events, in particular but not limited to the „LGRP II-III bridging event“, workshops, capacity-building measures etc., with partners and stakeholders
  3. Assists in knowledge management and electronic filing systems
  4. Assists in processing procurement, service contracts, and other processes
  5. Participates and supports organising virtual and physical activities
  6. Assists in development of knowledge and communication materials (factsheets, Facebook posts, etc…)  and reports

Required qualifications, competences and experience :

  1. Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in the field Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or any related field of study.
  2. Fluency in English and Arabic (speaking, writing, and reading)
  3. Excellent computer skills i.e., ITC technologies MS Office application (email, the internet and outlook, word, excel, Power Point. etc.)
  4. Fast learner, self-initiator, focused, team player, highly motivated
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative, and innovative.
  6. Ability to multi-task
  7. Ability to pay close attention to detail, identify errors, meet inflexible deadlines.
  8. Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed -Accurate, reliable, open-minded, and positive attitude.
