Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and Maintain Mobile Applications for Phones and Tablets (Android & iOS) based on the specification
- Work with Web Development and UI Development team to build mobile applications interactions dynamically with various Web Applications
- Follow the agency’s design standards, technology process, security principles, and change management process to produce the apps
- Gather requirements and specifications and analyze and produce prototypes
- Interact with various business users, present the prototypes, explain the visually designed prototype, and sign off the designs
- Work with UI developer to design interfaces to enrich user experiences
- Clean coding standards and procedures compliance to the agency’s standards
- Test, debug and improve applications optimization for better performance
- Release in Google Play and Apple App Store or Agency’s Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management system and team
- Post release monitor application performance, analysis, gather feedback, benchmark, re-design, release, and manage the life cycle of the mobile applications
- Industry up to date on the new development, Security, and Vulnerability assessment on various APIs.
- Assisting in producing Documentation for Requirement Gathering, Prototypes, Signoffs, Coding, and release management
- Frequent knowledge sharing with the team members and colleagues
- Produce monthly reports for mobile application performance and recommendations for improvements and updates
- Performing related tasks as assigned by the supervisor for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of Agency mobile applications.
- Assisting in preparing user manuals and other documentation for the systems and applications as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Academic Qualifications :
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, or other related disciplines;
Experience :
- Minimum 4 years of experience for Bachelor's degree and 2 years for Master's degree in Mobile Applications Development and Management.
- Hands-on experience with proven proficiency in Android Studio and XCode.
- Strong and proven proficiency in iOS and Android SDKs.
- Proven proficiency in Android and iOS App design and coding with backend (REST/JSON) Web Services for Mobile applications.
- Experience building mobile applications integrated with MS SQL Server and .Net core.
- Proficient in Frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular JS, and CMS-based apps.
- Knowledge in UI & UX, Code reviews and automation.

Contract Conditions.
- The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
- Remuneration for this consultancy will be on grade 14 ( $ 1,490.30 ) and depend on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
- The incumbent will be only in Gaza.
