1- Automation & Instrumentation Technician - PWA
- Position Title: Automation & instrumentation Technician
- Job Type: Full time.
- Location: Wastewater Treatment Plant North Gaza (WWTP) and Terminal pumping station North Gaza (TPS)
- Reports to: Electrical /Automation & instrumentation Engineer
- Contract Duration: One year (Renewable).
- Working Schedule: 45 hours/week, 6 days/week, 24/7
Responsibilities
- Calibrate electronic, pneumatic and mechanical instrumentation and maintain instrument and electrical systems components; maintain all calibration documentation.
- Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot plant control systems and equipment.
- Defines instrumentation requirements and troubleshoots power and control systems.
- Review system drawings, P&ID’s, and equipment manuals.
- Operate interface devices for programmable controllers and computers for purposes of program changes and troubleshooting.
- Write and debug PLC programs preferred.
- Interface with vendors when necessary.
- Assist in training of others.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of work as directed by standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Not less than three years' experience in Automation & instrumentation maintenance and operating a SCADA system at WWTP or sea water desalination plan or large scale sewage pumping station
- Good knowledge of dealing with the DCS/PLC/SCADA systems.
- Good knowledge of control devices.
- Good knowledge of dealing with electrical appliances.
- Good command of English speaking and writing.
- Knowledge of dealing with computers and proficiency in MS Office programs at an intermediate level
Preferred Experience
Three years’ experience as an electronics technician, calibrating, troubleshooting electronic/pneumatic instrumentation, controls, and PLC control systems is preferred.

2- Shift Operators - PWA
- Position Title: Shift Operators

- Reports to: Electrical /Automation & Instrument Engineer & Mechanical Engineer
- Contract Duration: One year (Renewable).
- Working Schedule: 45 hours/week, 6 days/week, 24/7
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and operating all station equipment / pumps via the SCADA system and proposing operational modifications.
- Coordination with the SCADA Engineer & Process Engineer to amend the PLC / SCADA variables and record those changes.
- Monitoring water lines, sludge lines and digester system through the SCADA system.
- Monitor that the plant's efficiency meets or exceeds the performance values guaranteed by the SCADA system.
- Saving and storing data in computerized records and databases.
- Assisting in collecting and processing SCADA reports and submitting them to the Place Manager.
- Submit operational recommendations to the SCADA Engineer & Process Engineer and assist in maintenance decisions based on instructions, laboratory data, and data recorded in the previous shift record.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum Secondary School.
- Not less than three years' experience in operating SCADA at WWTP, or sea water designation plant or large scale pumping station.
- Good knowledge of dealing with the SCADA program.
- Good knowledge of control devices.
- Good knowledge of dealing with electrical appliances.
- Good command of English speaking and writing.

Responsibilities
- Process inspection and initiations.
- Adjustment of process.
- Recognition of operational defaults.
- Operation of the plant and equipment in accordance with operations manuals.
- Instrument reading and interpretation.
- Identification of opportunities to increase efficiency and implementing the same for economic benefit.
- Supervision of the laboratory.
- Establishment of laboratory testing procedure and plans in accordance with the regulations in force and the operation and maintenance manual.
- Establishment of laboratory logs.
- Identification of operations faults and making adjustments to process.
- Dealing with system emergencies.
- Maintaining process records and chemical stocks including the timely ordering of chemicals.
- Keeping correct records.
- Responsible for preparing the monthly report in coordination with the laboratory and the electrical engineer
- Diagnose component and system problems.

- Maintain and diagnose faults on pneumatic, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC and basic electrical systems together with electrical engineer.

Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field of engineering (Civil, Process, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemistry). Master’s in wastewater treatment is a plus.
- Familiar with the physical and biological process of wastewater treatment.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar position at WWTP.
- Computer proficient (Microsoft Word and Excel etc.).
- Good knowledge of English languages (Spoken & Written)

4- Mechanical Engineer - PWA
- Position Title: Mechanical Engineer
- Job Type: Full time.

- Contract Duration: One year (Renewable).
- Working Schedule: 45 hours/week, 6 days/week, 24/7
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operation of all mechanical equipment.
- Works closely with the Electrical Engineer and Process Engineer on all aspects of the treatment plant and TPS.
- Performs routine maintenance, repairs and overhauls including but not limited to various pumps, compressors, blowers, engines, Heat exchangers, valves, piping, HVAC equipment as required all in accordance with the Operation and Maintenance Manuals including all functional testing.
- Diagnose component and system problems.
- Perform as the lead mechanical engineer in the removal of components using proper rigging equipment and in the reinstallation of the component.
- Ensure component/system operates properly and that all safety rules are followed.
- Perform corrective maintenance and non-routine troubleshooting of structural, mechanical and electrical features together with the electrical engineer to include but not limited to bearings, mechanical seals, bushing replacement, shaft inspections for wear and recognition of out-or-alignment and imbalance conditions.
- Performs preventative maintenance such as inspections, adjustment alignment, cleaning, lubrication and application of protective coatings on mechanical, electrical and structural features.
- Performs a variety of pipe fitting repairs and installations. Install new machinery as defined by the Plant Manager.
- Maintain and diagnose faults on pneumatic, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC and basic electrical systems together with electrical engineer.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all pumping stations.
- Suggests operational decisions and assists with maintenance decisions based on review of directives, laboratory data and log book entries from previous shifts.
- Prepares and fills out Operation and Maintenance Cards for each individual equipment, evaluate and record them for the mechanical equipment as appropriate.
- Maintain and control of tools and equipment inventory and assures cleanliness of all wastewater facilities during the assigned shift.
- Checks, evaluates and keeps records of all Operation and Maintenance Cards for each individual item of mechanical equipment.
- Recognition of operational defaults.
- Operation of the plant and equipment in accordance with operations manuals.
- Identification of operations faults and making adjustments to process.
- Dealing with system emergencies.
- Oversees the upkeep of the Site Accident Book
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering.
- Five years of relevant general experience with at least three years in O&M of sea water desalination plan, large scale of sewage pumping stations, Wastewater treatment plant.
- Good knowledge of dealing with electrical appliances.
- Good command of English speaking and writing.
- Knowledge of dealing with computers and proficiency in MS Office programs at an intermediate level.

- Working Schedule: 45 hours/week, 6 days/week
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient management and control of the Warehouse Operation whilst achieving agreed budgetary and service levels.
- Provide an effective and reliable service to customers whilst meeting all legal requirements.
- Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.
- Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Plan future capacity requirements, keep up to date and respond accordingly to all enquiries
- Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilizing help of the warehouse team
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labeling of all stock items
- Ensure that any IT and automated systems are accurate and up to date
- Identify any systems improvements and drive through recommendations for change
- Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements
- Follow policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems
- Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and implement best practice warehousing principles, policies and processes.
- Establish, monitor and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures
- To keep records of all warehouse stock by updating stocks cards and registers all incoming/outgoing materials.
- Ensure that proper procedures are followed during receipt and issue of materials to and from the warehouse

- Update warehouse ledger on a daily basis

Job requirements:
- Diploma degree in Business Administration or accounting certificate in Bookkeeping and Warehouses.
- Not less than three years' experience in Bookkeeping and Warehouses.
- Good knowledge of Bookkeeping program.
- Good command of English speaking and writing.
- Knowledge of dealing with computers and proficiency in MS Office programs at an intermediate level.
- Knowledge of dealing with Al Aseel Accounting Program at an intermediate level.
- Hold a valid driving license.
