Project Coordinator


  • PMRS is currently seeking a Project Coordinator 
  • Duration: 7 months 
  • Place of work: Gaza governorate, North Gaza governorate.


Requirements:  

  1. ⦁    Bachelor degree in business or any relevant field. 
  2. ⦁    Minimum of 2 years of experience with health NGOs, in a similar field.
  3. ⦁    Experience in coordinating projects funded by OCHA including Standard allocation and HRP projects.
  4. ⦁    Experience in monitoring and evaluations of projects. 


Essential skills and competencies:

  1. ⦁    Excellent professional and technical writing and reporting skills.
  2. ⦁    High level command of English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
  3. ⦁    Excellent computer skills.
  4. ⦁    Aware in Gender promotion and empowerment.
  5. ⦁    Aware of people with disability considerations and needs.
  6. ⦁    Preference for those who have previous experience working for the Palestinian Medical Relief Society. 


Main tasks and responsibilities:

  1. ⦁    Coordinate projects activities.
  2. ⦁    Monitor projects progress and handle any issues that arise.
  3. ⦁    Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
  4. ⦁    Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  5. ⦁    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports (narrative and financial).
  6. ⦁    Communication and coordination with the project team, local partners and donor.
  7. ⦁    Conducting field visits to the project location and the targeted areas.
  8. ⦁    Conducting assessment and evaluation focus groups with the targeted groups.
  9. ⦁    Using and filling projects templates including reporting system of OCHA templates. 
  10. ⦁    Attending relevant external and internal meetings/workshops. 
  11. ⦁    Review the work completed with the projects team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the projects standards.
  12. ⦁    In addition to any other tasks.
