Pharma/Logistics Officer, Gaza Base (1 Position)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To support the logistics department in logistics operations related to pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and disposables in compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
  2. To implement Medical and Non-Medical procurement and logistics activities, in accordance with MdM standards, protocols and procedures, on Gaza strip.
  3. To physically manage stock in accordance with established protocols and standards
  4. Given the nature of our activities, this stock management particularly involves medicines, consumables, and medical equipment, but does not exclude other types of items which may be stored (fuels, food stuffs, various equipment, etc.)
  5. Receiving, checking, and controlling orders
  6. Organizing inventories and stocktaking
  7. Direct responsible for MDM Stock management, monthly follow of consumption and monthly reports.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with valid license of practice.
  2. Essential previous experience of at least 3 years in similar or relevant positions (Preferable in NGOs)
  3. Understand and use pharmacy management standards, procedures, and pharmacy management tools.
  4. Work in a team.
  5. Write professional reports, collect, and analyze data, organize, classify, and communicate information.
  6. Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken)
  7. Computer skills (word, excel, power point, outlook).
  8. Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement and relevant regulations.
  9. Experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within the healthcare sector.
